View of Tokyo Tower is now partially obstructed by an office building directly in front. Sad. This used to be my favorite spot to take photos and watch the sunset with the Tokyo Tower backdrop. You do, however, still get unobstructed panoramic views of Odaiba and north / south east Tokyo.
Very good and cheaper alternative to Tokyo tower and the views are amazing.
Great view, all of Tokyo at one place. It is the 40th floor of world trade center building.
Fascinating seeing Tokyo from the 40th floor. A wonderful view to north, south, east and west.
Nice view of tokyo tower
Great views, really chill. Excellent hot matcha.
Good place good view but glass not clear they warp with plastic
Not very crowded and offers a good view of the Tokyo Tower and Sky tree. However, you need to have a telephoto lens to have a closer shot of the skytree to avoid the buildings on the side. Rainbow bridge is partly hidden. Entrance feeis reasonable at 650yen but you can print the coupon from their website to avail 150 discount. Table and comfy chairs also available.
Great 360° view of Tokyo for just around ¥400.
Price is cheap and you get a nice view of tokyo. They have tables at the deck and some drinks as well. A good place to chill and spend maybe 30min.
A relatively cheap (600 yen) view of Tokyo from atop the World Trade Centre building. You can get a nice view of Tokyo Tower and some of the Odaiba area.
This one is cheaper than most observatories (620¥ for adult), but other high buildings are being constructed around. All west side is already blocked, mount Fuji is not visible anymore. The space in observatory is very nice, there are many tables and chairs where you can sit and relax. Just windows glass has some scars, most likely from cameras, then people where taking pictures. Not so bad, but visible. Overall, I really enjoyed the observatory and views.
Great observation deck with a fair price. Best moment to go : during the sunset. Or during a shinny day. Great place to spend time, drink coffee and relax.
Really nice, calm place, with a great view. Some tables and chairs where you can sit and eat something you brought with you. There are no shops or cafés, but there is a vending machine.
Great views at a reasonable price. A must see without needing to do very much. Great for a layover at Haneda airport, just 20 minutes away on the monorail.
Probably the best spot to see Tokyo Tower. So much lesser crowd compared to other places due to the location so you can get to enjoy the view peacefully.
Great views of Tokyo, unfortunately you can’t see Mount Fuji anymore as there is a new building in the way, however you can get great views of Tokyo Skytree and Tokyo Tower.
We visited this observatory on top of the World Trade Centre for a bird’s eye view of the Tokyo Tower. Turns out the panoramic view we expected was not to be as an adjacent building almost denied us any view of the iconic tower at all. Thus, a small crowd was camping at a corner of the observatory that offers the best view of the tower. That said, the observatory was decked out with comfy chairs, tables and light music so it was a really good place to chill. Barring the obtrusive building on its south side, the views of the city on the other 3 directions were great and watching the trains go by every few minutes was pretty fun. At a height of 152m, this observatory is way lower than the skytree but that’s actually not a bad thing as we are able observe the ground level more easily.
Absolutely magnificent view. Not expensive and special elevator take you very quickly to the top. Whole city and even ocean can be seen. Don't forget to visit WTC.
From the world trade observatory, you can enjoy a nice night view of Tokyo tower. Seaside top observatory is very calm with soft lighting along with relaxing music. Good place to relax after a long period of stress
Recommend visiting in the evening: wonderful views of the city lights. Peaceful, quiet and spacious compared to other towers offering views of the city. Decent price, drinks are available from vending machines.
You can have a quiet time with beautiful night views.
The observatory is beautiful and much cheaper than other in Tokyo. Accept cash only and simple elevator bring you to the highest floor.Make sure to arrive just before sunset. Then you can enjoy in 2 hours a full view in light of the city as well as sunset and night time. The area to see Tokyo tower is limited so expect a bit of crowd in that specific window.Others are nice too and you can enjoy the view while taking a dessert or coffee you brought ahead of time.Enjoy!
Great view in all directions (mostly not blocked by other buildings). On weekdays (~2pm) the observatory is almost empty which is great if you just want to relax (lots of seats) and enjoy the view. There is no terrace or open-air space, so pictures need to be taken through the windows. However they are clean and do not impact image quality too much. There also restrooms and vending machines available.
Shows the surrounding area of Tokyo. Unfortunately, you can’t see the mountains very well due to a huge building blocking the view. Spacious and quiet though! 5/5
Take advantage of the free observatory. Got to see a beautiful sunset outlining Mount Fuji. Enjoy!
Cheap observatory, hardly anyone there and good views! Stop here for a quick break
Nice view @ a cheaper price then Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Skytree. More relaxing environment and not as crowded
Wonderfull skyview of Tokyo, harbour and other landmarks
A nice and peaceful observation area with great views of Tokyo and Tokyo Tower. It is at the top of the WTC and has a direct subway connection.I think a new skyscraper has been built up to WTC a year ago and this slightly spoils the view of Tokyo Tower.
Clean and air conditioned. Friendly staff. Excellent views of Tokyo tower. It only cost a few bucks to go up.
Some views are already gone... blocked by other buildings. And not much going on here.
I could see a Tokyo tower and Tokyo bayIf you are photographer you should go this placeI think here are better than skytree and Tokyo towerPeople are less clouded than Tokyo tower and Skytree Also view are more fantasticAt last entrance fee was approximately 620yen.But sky tree was 2000yen
Great place to stop by and take elevator to top observatory. The entrance to elevators are a little hidden within the building they call the aworld Trade Center. When you get to the top, there is seating along the windows around the whole bldg. Best to head up there for sunset. In one corner you can peer directly down in zōjōji temples while the Tokyo tower standing boldly above it. On other corner you can see the railway system as well as a garden park nearby and boats in the bay.
I love this place because i can see city view and sea view at here. Awesome place to see Tokyo Tower in the evening. Price approx 620 JPY.
A wonderful experience watching Tokyo from above. Maybe visiting at night would be the best
excellent view of the city, easy to access and very friendly english-speaking staff
Great view in all directions. The atmosphere is quiet but chilling. The entrance fee is much cheaper than any other observatory for such an amazing night view.
Very cool observatory. The view may not be the best but I’ve never seen another observatory with this much seating and a lounge vibe. Not busy during the day either. Only ¥500 admission, 20% off for AAA/JAF members. Overlooks the harbor and the Rainbow Bridge.
I would argue you get a much better view of Tokyo here then at Tokyo Tower.
Great views especially at night of Tokyo Tower along with the bay view of Rainbow Bridge. Atmosphere super chill and comfortable with plenty of seats and relaxing music.
Amazing views from the seaside and Tokio tower. Surprisingly it was almost empty when we visited it. There are plenty of tables and sofas to sit down and enjoy the view.Sadly there is no bar at the top, only a vending machine, i would recomend going with some snacks to sit and have a relaxed time with the cityscape as a background.
train lover could make timelapse here, with MRT, monorail, and shinkansen in one frame
Beautiful view of the city!
It is very pretty. Minimalist holiday decorations.
Very good view at Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Bay(Rainbow Bridge), not so crowded as other observatories(Shibuya Sky, Mori building)600 yen is a very good Price for that view
Not too many people know about this place but if you're in the area its worth a visit. Its inexpensive (¥650) and the views are fantastic. There is a bar located one floor below.
Great place to photograph night views of Tokyo, especially Tokyo Tower is right in front of this observatory. This opens from 10:00 am to 8:30 pm almost everyday. Adult admission is 620 yen as of November 2018. I like convenience of this top observatory the best because it's close to the JR Hamamatsucho Station.
Cool and Isn’t expensive 630 yen each ....must do by night
Nice, relaxing lounge with tables and couches to sit on while enjoying the great views. You can grab a coffee from the vending machine and take a break from exploring Tokyo.
